Free entry (with proof of status)

1. Voucher 52, for Portuguese citizens and residents in Portugal, any day of the week, on presentation of their citizen Card;
2. Children up to the age of 12;
3. Unemployed visitors resident in the European Union;
4. Researchers, museologists and/or heritage professionals, conservators and restorers, while they are in active employment;
5.  Members of ICOM, ICOMOS, APOM and employees of organisations under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture;
6. Teachers and accredited students of all levels of higher education, including senior universities and vocational training institutions, if they can prove that they are on a study visit;
7. Groups with proven economic need;
8. Members of groups of friends of museums, monuments and palaces dependent on MMP, E.P.E;
9. Employees, volunteers and trainees of the central services of the MMP, E.P.E. or of museums, monuments and palaces, and one accompanying person;
10. Ex-combatants and the widow or widower of an ex-combatant holding the cards provided for in the ex-combatant statute approved in Annex I to Law No. 46/2020 of 20 August;
11. Visitors with a documented disability of 60% or more and one accompanying person;
12. Tourism or media professionals, including those working on new digital platforms, as long as they are accredited and carrying out their duties;
13.  Visitors at corporate events or in casual situations;
14.  Former political prisoners and immediate family members of former political prisoners from the Peniche Fortress Prison;
15. Other situations with a legal framework.

Discounts

1. Discounts may apply to the standard ticket price for access to the museums, monuments and palaces belonging to MMP, E.P.E. in the following cases and amounts:
   1. a) Visitors aged 65 and over – 50%;
   2. b) Young people aged between 13 and 24 – 50%;
   3. c) Families, provided that they consist of at least two members, one of whom is an adult and the other a minor – 50%;
   4. d) Protocols with third parties whose main activity is compatible with the mission of MMP, E.P.E. – 20%;
   5. e) Other situations with a legal framework and/or resulting from partnerships within the framework of pre-paid tickets.
2. The discounts provided for in the previous paragraph must be verified at the box office by presenting a valid and current document in each case.
3. Proof of maternity and/or paternity is not required in the cases referred to in letter c).
4. The discounts or reductions provided for in paragraph 1 do not apply to group tickets, guided tours and combined tickets, with the exception of youth tickets, which can be used with combined tickets and which can also be booked in advance by sending an e-mail to MMP, E.P.E.

GROUP TICKETS

1. Discounts also apply to group tickets as follows:
   1. a) Purchases of more than 250 tickets – 7.5%;
   2. b) Purchases of more than 500 tickets – 10%;
   3. c) Purchases of more than 1,000 tickets – 15%.
2. The discounts provided for in the previous paragraph apply only to standard tickets as defined in article 3.
3. The discounts provided for in paragraph 1 may not be combined with other discounts, with the exception of the discount for children under 12 years of age.
4. The management and issuing of orders for group tickets will be carried out through a special channel with the relevant department of MMP, E.P.E.
5. Group tickets will be made available upon confirmation of payment.
6. For the purchases referred to in paragraph 1, 100 tickets may also be requested for children under the age of 12 (free of charge).
7. Group tickets are valid for one year and cannot be renewed or revalidated. They can be reserved in advance by contacting MMP, E.P.E. by e-mail.
