The Resistance of the Portuguese People to the longest fascist dictatorship in Europe, was expressed in thousands of large and small actions, held in all over the country, in the colonially dominated territories and in the countries where Portuguese were exiled.
The April Revolution handed back to the Portuguese people the right to living in freedom and the power to decide their destiny.
